Bruce Jenner’s Out of Control Obsession with Plastic Surgery
Earlier this week, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star Bruce Jenner stepped out with a whole new look, including a shaved Adam’s apple and a hairstyle that looked strikingly similar to Khloe and Kim’s dos, including darker roots and lighter ends.
Bruce’s transformation has caused many people to ask if he’s going for a whole new identity and possibly even becoming a woman. Patients who are in the early stages of gender reassignment generally go through the procedure of eliminating the Adam’s apple as one of the first steps. But the former Olympic gold medalist has insisted that’s not why he wanted to have the procedure, he says, “I just never liked my trachea.”
Radar Online reports that Kendall and Kylie find the changes “confusing to grasp.”
According to sources close to the Jenner and Kardashian family, as reported by TMZ, Bruce isn’t changing his identity but is merely going through a mid-life crisis and is addicted to plastic surgery. They are even going as far as calling it a “Michael Jackson syndrome” due to his obsession. If you look at earlier photos of Bruce, you can see that his nose is similarly appearing to melt.
In addition to surgeries on his nose and neck, the 64-year-old has moved to Malibu and is driving a Harley. The family has reportedly counseled him against going under the knife but he’s refused to listen. They are positive that he has no desire to become a woman, saying that he’s “very manly” and “loves sports, helicopters and cars,” (so do many transsexuals, females, gay men and all types of people we have to point out) but he seems to obviously have some self-esteem issues and problems accepting the inevitable – aging.
TMZ has also noted that when Bruce goes golfing he’s said to constantly talk about winning the gold at the 1976 Olympics which was when he was young and at his peak as far as good looks.
Could the problem be that the entire family seems to have an obsession with appearance? Whatever the reason behind it, we hope he stops the madness before it’s too late.
